An online marketplace for finding, hiring, and managing a nanny or nanny share.

Problem

Childcare is not accessible to most Americans. Nannies are a luxury and expensive. Parents are often at a crossroads between choosing a career or choosing to raise a family. What if families can have both?

solution

Democratize childcare options by allowing families to share a nanny. Parents split the cost of a nanny and pay less, while nannies get paid more. Create an online marketplace with a three-way match: family <> family <> nanny.

results

Launched its MVP in March 2018 across the U.S., and within a year, it has grown to over 50K users, 20K matches, and 250 payroll customers.

The product included: a marketplace with connected family profiles, nannies profiles, a payroll solution, and a concierge service.

My impact

Designed the visual identity, including the logo, brand strategy, and all illustrations.

Designed the entire product experience end-to-end including wireframes, design system, and high-fidelity mocks. Conducted user testing sessions with our product team and CS to learn, iterate, and deliver a meaningful product experience, that includes quick wins and a longer road map vision.
