Problem
Users have an overlap of skills across marketplace services, however, the structure of each service is siloed. For example, babysitters cannot advertise their housesitting listing on their sitter profile, and vice-versa.
solution
Create a cross-platform experience to elevate user skills and more hiring opportunities for service providers. We believed that if we could reduce the onboarding steps, more users would likely create more than 1 connected listing.
results
A 30% increase in cross-platform usage after optimizing the onboarding flow to create and connect cross-platform profiles.
We also improved the experience by introducing centralized messaging.
